This track will explore the effectiveness of community-based development, with a special emphasis on the work of midwives, community health promoters, and other local actors. Presentations will examine the experiences of selected model programs, explore the integration between local groups and regional or international supporters, and examine the impact of programs on target communities across a range of thematic areas, including nutrition and health, ecology, and infrastructure development.
