Andrea Aldana is the Customer Relations Manager at Edesia, a non-profit organization based in Providence, RI, U.S.A. Edesia is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of malnutrition for vulnerable people in the developing world through ready-to-use foods (RUFs). The organization produces high quality RUFs, supports research and development to improve products and their distribution, and supports local producers of RUFs in the developing world.

Ms. Aldana’s past experience includes accounting, budget management and vendor partnership development with companies like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of RI and M&A Enterprises Inc.  In her role at Edesia, Aldana develops partnerships, manages international orders and provides support in financial management. In the last year, she has developed several partnerships with organizations working in Guatemala, focusing on chronic malnutrition.

Of Guatemalan descent, Ms. Aldana is dedicated to giving back to the country where her family calls home. Ms. Aldana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Johnson and Wales University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University.
